Yes, it has typical signs of use as it is a professional workhorse but this camera is in great working condition. I do not want to sell this camera… It is one of my fav cams. Has about 120 drum hours on the heads and this (3) 1/2 ccd camera puts out an incredible image! Jvc gy-dv500 3ccd mini-dv camera camcorder.
Fujinon 14 x 7.3brm-29 real mechanical lens with macro (shown). High resolution black and white viewfinder (shown). (2) np23 batteries that both hold a healthy charge (shown). Nrg camera wall a/c power supply (shown). Anton bauer 4 battery quick charger (not shown but included). Original manual (not shown but included). A very nice feature is a true mechanical lens that lets you manually zoom and it has macro. It still has the power zoom for those not interested in manual operation. Has all the highly sought after professional feature from synchro scan to scene finder etc. If you are looking at this camera you probably know the full specs but if not simply do a quick google search and you will be amazed at what this camera can do. One of the nicest being the 1/2 ccd chips. Size is everything in cameras. The large 1/2 ccds give you great low light performance and lets you play with depth of field more than smaller chip cameras.

The only thing the camera. Does not come with is a microhone. You can mount any xlr mic of your liking.

I personally always shot dual system sound with a boom operator or shot single system with a boom op feeding audio into the camera. This camera is a professional unit. Typically that is what is done. Except for the most basic run and gun stuff, you should not be counting on any on-camera mic to do decent work.

No matter what mic you stick on the camera. And feature films have been shot with the gy-dv500. It is a real performer.

This is a ntsc camera.
