Everything works as it should. No issues with video or sound quality.

Only body has minor dirt, scuffs, and scratches which i tried to capture in the pics. I’ve used it on 2-4 projects per year. The heads have less than 75 hours of use, making this a great cheap minidv tape deck. I only used sony dvcam and sony hdv tape, because they don’t gunk up the heads. The heads were cleaned once a year by me and once by the canon factory 2 years ago.

I’ve taken excellent care of the lens, therefore it’s not scratched or scuffed on either side of the barrel. Important: there are 3 specs of dirt in the lens element itself located beneath the 16×9 guidelines. 2 are at the bottom left and 1 is at the bottom middle.

Does not show up on image. The eyepiece does have particles inside.
Does not obscure image in any way, shape, or form else i would have had it cleaned myself. You only notice them when you’re looking at the walls of the eyepiece and not paying attention to the image.

Scratches/scuff marks: on the lens barrel, eye piece, cassette cover door, and the leg with the f-stop wheel. If you i missed anything, please don’t hesitate to ask questions.
