For all the juicy details of this fantastic camera, please go to the offical sony website. This camera has been a staple of my productions for the past couple of years now and is simply amazing!

I would recommed this camera to anyone.. It’s simple to operate and the quality of the video is absolutely stunning!

The camera is in perfect working condition.. Not one thing wrong with it, internally or externally.

I have cared for this camera like it was my only child. Retail on the camera alone goes for roughly $3500.00 (i’m positive you can get it cheaper at plenty of retail outlets though), but regardless, i’m including with the camera the following. Sony soft carrying case ($100 value), extra long life battery ($170 value), pag light kit ($180 value), conversion xlr mount ($50 value), lens cleaner, uv lens protector, as well as the handson hdv dvd complete guide to the fx1. This dvd will have you up and running like a professional in minutes! That’s over $500 in extras alone!! The camera comes with the manual, remote, and standard av cables.
The only thing the camera doesn’t have included is the dv to component cable. I will continue to locate this cable, but i’m afraid it may have been lost during a production. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any question you may have. I’ve been receiving a lot of inquaries (and rightfully so) as to how many hours of use does the camera have. Unfortuantely, sony left a head reader out of the menu options, so my answer to this would only be a guess. Luckily, i hold on to all my tape masters, but not all were filmed with this camera, as i do a lot of multi-cam events, nor do all tapes have 60 minutes worth of content on them. After counting up the tapes and doing a fair assesment as to how many were filmed with this fair guess would be somewhere between 200-350 hours. For some of you, i gave a much higher number… Closer to 800 hours, which i feel is way to much at this point. The camera was used maybe 10x per year (approx 3 years) and i certainly wasn’t running it for 24 hours on those days. Regardless, i hope this helps bring some clarity to the head situation.
