Jvc gy-hd100u camcorder plus some really great accessories. The hd100 shoots fantastic quality 720p video! I bought it to shoot 24p, which looks fantastic with a quality that matches tight-grained 16mm film almost perfectly. Some specs on the camera are.
Shoots hdv (special jvc codec) on dv tapes, 1280×720, 24fps, 30fps and 60fps. Focusing aids for hd video. Skin match algorithm for softening skin detail. 2 batteries (probably should be replaced).
Firewire port (works, not damaged like many jvc camcorders). Flip-out screen plus eyepiece viewfinder. 174 drum hours, 333 fan hours. Firestore fs-4 hard disc recorder.
Two batteries (shortened capacity due to age). Firewire cable with surge protector (necessary to keep from frying the jvc’s delicate firewire port). There’s more: comes with a petrol bag in excellent condition. This is an excellent opportunity to get into a great camcorder at a low price. This camera has been used to make many quality programs, including a 2007 pbs special, hearts divided: baptism and the jews in the third reich.
