This panasonic dvx-100 has been my. Since i won it from kevin spacey’s film festival in 2003. I’ve used it to shoot cable tv specials, short films, reality shows, concerts, interviews and youtube videos.

Even so, i still believe it still has plenty of life left, and would be a worthy camera for a young filmmaker to learn on. The 24p “film look” is especially rich and textured. I haven’t seen a camera today that matches the 24p quality.

This 3-chip video camera records a 4:3 image onto minidv tape. Please read all the technical specs. For the lens in its original packaging.
It has never been used to record in the desert, or an otherwise dusty environment. Or mis-used or used as a “stunt camera”.
It includes everything seen in the main photo: camera, batteries, original manual, charger with proper cables, glass filter, and original strap. The camera is indeed in used condition. The internal display shows 822 hours of recording time. Along with this are a few issues.

The lcd video monitor will sometimes flicker lightly. I’m not sure why, but it doesn’t seem to impede viewing. Nobody watching my videos have ever noticed this, and you may not have either, but the recorded footage leaves a very narrow column of space on the right side (see image). It’s probably 2-3 pixels wide.
If it bothers you, it’s correctable by enlarging your video in editing by 1 or 2%. Some of the batteries are old and don’t hold a charge for very long.

I recently lost the lens cap, although the lens is in excellent condition, as is the protective glass filter included. But i’m happy to answer any questions!
